winston salem wedding flowers
I’ve been very fortunate over the years to meet some incredible people. And one of my favorite parts of being a wedding florist is that I enjoy working with my brides!
I love getting to hear the details of their wedding. Not many people can handle hearing the specific details of the kind of linen you’re ordering for your wedding but I DO love to hear about those things! A Tuscany linen rented from La Tavola in 134” round in ice blue with coordinating chiavari chair pads? I’m 100% tracking with you and couldn’t be happier to see the color swatch! It’s not for everyone but it’s definitely for me.
Along with getting to hear all the details I genuinely become invested in your wedding and how every aspect of your vision becomes a reality. And with that, I often times get new friends! I love hearing from my brides. Even yesterday I received a random email from one of my bride’s from 3 years ago just checking in and seeing how things were going. Gosh, I love that and it makes me love my job even more-if possible!
Erica is one of those special people that has the sweetest spirit and kindest heart. I’ve been fortunate enough to keep tabs on her over the years and I even got to work with her on a styled shoot in Charleston! I love seeing her life updates on instagram.
Erica and David had a beautiful wedding at Veritas Vineyard in Charlottesville, VA on a sunny Summer evening. It was a scorcher but that didn’t stop anything from being less than perfection.
Check out that draping on the ceiling. She had farmhouse tables and a sweet color palette of soft neutrals. It was elegant, tasteful, classic and a lovely celebration of two special people. I’m so thankful I got to be a part of it and I still get to cheer them on! Enjoy the photos by Sam Stroud Photography.
It’s been 6 months since we moved and it feels like we just got here...
What does this mean for Petal Flower Company?
The good news is I’m still making beautiful wedding flowers! It just may be for Brides a little further south than the ones before. I’ll be doing flowers for weddings and events anywhere in the Triad. From Kernersville, High Point, Greensboro, Winston-Salem- even Asheville, Charlotte and Raleigh are on the list!
I’ve already had a chance to make some of the most beautiful wedding flowers at the Outer Banks this past Fall and I have weddings in Asheville and Raleigh coming up soon but I still have some available 2019 weekends.
How do I get wedding flowers for my Winston Salem wedding?

Romantic Wedding Flowers in Central Virginia
Hey y'all! It's been a busy year at Petal! One of our own got married at the end of May and Santara did not disappoint when it was finally her turn! It was the sweetest wedding and you could tell there was so much love and support in the room.
She used a rich color palette from a fig including creams, nude, blush, mauve, rich burgundy's and eggplants, with a touch of gold. I love this versatile color palette because it can be used any time of the year. She used it in the Spring as an unusual twist, but could also be used in the Fall with more focus on the darker and richer colors.
Making Santara and Dwight's flowers was extra special to me but she gave me lots to room to play! Like the paired down bridesmaid's bouquets consisting of no flowers... you heard me. NO flowers!?! I recovered and I thought there were so unique and really made her bouquet even more of a focal point. From the simplistically elegant green vines climbing up the drapery that we put on the wooden arch to the vignettes of fruit in wooden compote dishes on each table filled with blackberries, grapes, plums, and blueberries, their wedding was filled with texture, contrast, and lots of beautiful real-life wedding inspiration!
