It's been on my list of "things to do" for a while now and that's to have a petal pop-up shop at some point. With the holidays just around the corner and the fall wedding season coming to a close in the next few weeks, I felt like it was only appropriate to go out with a bang! Petal will be joining Vintage Lynchburg on Saturday, November 8th from 9AM-3PM at the Urban Arts garage on 10th & Commerce St. I really enjoyed going to Vintage Lynchburg this Spring (I'm not even exaggerating, I wear a necklace I bought there twice a week and I get compliments on it almost every time I wear it). They're supporting a great cause, The Motherhood Collective and the promote buying and shopping local. There will be lots of other great vendors selling everything from handmade soap, jewelry that's too hot for etsy to handle, eclectic items that my house NEEDS, and enough calligraphy and art to do all your Christmas shopping in one place while grabbing some delicious food and drink along the way. Not to mention, ahem... Petal will be offering various items that are sure to leave your house smelling of earthy cedar and pine and your front door adorned with design that will make all your friends demand to know where you got that one-of-a-kinder.
Below is a mock-up of our laurel wreath we will be selling. This laurel showcases blue thistle and snowberry but we'll have lots of other colors, textures, and wintery goodies for the sale that are sure to make you squeal with delight. And if that doesn't get you in the holiday spirit, we will have sweet and simple air-plant terrariums that can be used as ornaments or set in a window sill by the kitchen. And a few more items we can't reveal yet, or you might think you know everything and skip our booth and we can't let you do that because we're from the south and we want you to come by, chat, and stay a while so don't be shy!
